Think about the first time a friend took you somewhere you would never have gone alone. A restaurant that felt out of reach. A store where you assumed everything would cost more than you could spend. A room full of people who seemed to belong there in a way you were not sure you did.
You stood outside and talked yourself out of it before you even walked in. I cannot afford this. This is not for me. Who do I think I am?
But your friend had already been there. She knew the menu. She knew the energy of the place. She knew you were going to love it. So she took your hand and walked you through the door and said: you are supposed to be here.
And once you were inside, she did not leave you alone to figure it out. She helped you read the menu without panic. She ordered a drink and made it feel normal. She showed you how to settle into the space, how to take up the room, how to stop waiting for someone to ask you to leave.
And after a while, you forgot you had ever been afraid of it. You went back on your own. You brought someone else.
That is what this is.
I believe the answer is already with you. My job is not to hand you a roadmap someone else designed. It is to ask the questions that help you hear yourself more clearly, and to walk alongside you while you figure out what you already know. I also show you what works for me. Not because my way is the right way, but because sometimes what holds us back is not a lack of answers. It is a lack of permission.
I do that through writing, through coaching conversations, and through the work I do with teams and organizations on culture, leadership, and engagement. The context changes. The intention does not.
If something I have written or shared has resonated with you, or if you are thinking about bringing this kind of conversation into your space, I would love to hear from you.
