Coffee. A daily reminder of the journey to becoming a better version of myself.
I recently read “The Latte Factor” by David Bach and John David Mann, a book about three secrets to financial freedom.
With that title, I was… skeptical, to say the least. My first thought was: — Great! Another piece of literature trying to convince me that, spending six or so dollars on a latte, is a crime pfff…. But, because I have made a commitment to my growth, I decided to give it a chance.
It was not about the lattes!! Well, not necessarily. The book was about being intentional with your spending habits. It was truly a powerful read.

That made me think about my “first coffee, then things” approach to life. It’s not (only) about the coffee, it is about being intentional with my day, my goals, and my actions.
What habits am I carrying from one day to the next?
How much value are my routines (or the lack thereof) adding to my growth?
How am I applying new learnings?
Who am I being?
Who am I becoming?
A morning routine around coffee, is what I have chosen as a reminder to explore these questions with kindness and curiosity.
